Next Tuesday, March 3, the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC) booth at 4YFN, within the framework of MWC 2026, will host the Investor’s Day session. This event serves as a meeting point between BSC spin-offs and the local and international investment community, and in this context, some of the spin-offs from the X4HPC network will participate.

The session will begin with Anna Escoda, Technology Transfer Manager at BSC and director of X4HPC, who will present and review a decade of BSC spin-off companies and their growing impact. Following this, Sergi Besonias, Spin-Off Portfolio Manager at BSC, will present the center’s strategy to promote company creation and strengthen the deep tech innovation ecosystem.

During this year’s Investor’s Day, three spin-off companies seeking funding will be presented: OneCareAI, which uses AI to advance cardiovascular and stroke risk prediction; ELEM‘s Virtual Humans technology, which accurately replicates functional human organs to enable safer therapeutic trials; and Qilimanjaro Quantum Tech, which develops end-to-end quantum computers and enables cloud-accessible quantum advantage. Each company will present its technology and investment opportunity. All three are member spin-offs of X4HPC.

The program will also highlight three startups progressing toward spin-off creation: Resilience, which predicts weather and makes decisions; Alya4Fusion, which builds next-generation multiphysics digital twins to accelerate fusion energy advancements; and Horus, which creates high-efficiency scientific workflow solutions to scale complex computational research.

The event will conclude with a networking session at the BSC booth at 4YFN, connecting investors, entrepreneurs, and BSC representatives. You can find more details at: https://x4hpc.cat/mwc26/investors-day-10-years-of-bsc-spin-offs/.
