We’ve just wrapped up the final session of the BSC Innovation Journey Program, which is a big step for researchers who want to turn their work  into economically viable solutions.

This program is designed to guide researchers in shaping their ideas into clear, compelling proposals with real business potential. In this final session, we dealt with a crucial challenge for any project: how to communicate an idea clearly and intentionally.

We spent the morning in a hands-on workshop led by Sergi Manaut, focused on public speaking. Researchers worked on their pitches, clarified their messages, and practiced delivering them with purpose, in order to ensure that they not only communicate what they do but also why it matters and how it connects with their audience.

In the afternoon, we visited Norrsken, where winners of the Fundación Caja Ingenieros Prize shared their early-stage experiences. Their stories offered valuable insights into moving from a real-world problem to a viable solution.

This session was the final step in preparing for the upcoming closing event at Tech Spirit Barcelona, where selected teams will present their pitches on stage to gain visibility and make new connections. Three standout projects will be chosen to deliver an open presentation in front of attendees.

With this full-day session, we’ve laid the groundwork for a fantastic closing event at Tech Spirit Barcelona. The teams are ready to share the findings of their journeys through the BSC Innovation Journey Program, and we’re looking forward to what comes next.

Join us at Tech Spirit Barcelona to see their progress first-hand and connect with the next generation of research-driven innovation.
