The X4HPC R&D&I Network for Supercomputing expands its number of institutions with the addition of AiQUOS SL, a key technology company in boosting the network ecosystem and the interaction between research and industry.
X4HPC aims to increase the impact of technology transfer to the productive and social sectors, leading to the transfer of innovative HPC (High Performance Computing) applications in new areas; all with the goal of transforming the network’s ecosystem into an innovation pool for supercomputing technologies.
An example of this is the addition of AiQUOS SL, a leader in high-potential innovation and at the forefront of aqueous solutions monitoring technologies.
AiQUOS is a technology-drive company working at the intersection of electrochemical sensing, neuromorphic processing and custom ASIC development, with a roadmap towards industrialization and market deployment.
From aligning with RISC-V and open hardware technologies, to enhance the value of the technology, and to cross-sector and multi-aplication expansion, AiQUOS shares many of the X4HPC’s objectives, aiming to professionalize and accelerate the development of advanced technologies in Catalonia. Therefore, its incorporation into the transfer network represents an opportunity for both organizations.
X4HPC thus celebrates the addition of this new entity and welcomes AiQUOS as a new member of the network.
